Cardicure recognizes all these prerequisites and offers bespoke packages for transportation of our clients, including services like car hire, ambulance services, and transportation to and from an airport, home (only for patients based in the UK), hotel, and hospital.
1. Airport Pickup service:
- We will provide the name of the person who will meet the patient. Please provide us with any form of identification (Copy of passport or any photographic ID) for easy recognition.
- In case of mobility issues, a wheelchair or other necessary assistance will be arranged. Please inform us about your requirements in advance.
- If the patient's condition requires medical supervision during transport, a professional medical transport service or an ambulance will be arranged.
- Communicate with our team to inform us of the patient's needs, and request any necessary accommodations or services.
2. Transport to Hotel / Hospital:
- Our transport team will ensure a comfortable and safe transport to your hotel or hospital.
- You will be informed about the route and estimated travel time for the journey.
- We offer hotels that are suitable for the patient's medical needs, such as one with accessible rooms.
- Depending on the patient's condition, an ambulance or a specialized medical transport vehicle equipped with necessary medical equipment, such as oxygen or a stretcher, will be arranged.
- We will schedule the transportation to the hospital based on the patient's treatment appointments or the medical advice provided by our healthcare team.
- Please coordinate with the designated team member for transport and hospital admissions to streamline the check-in process.
3. Hospital Stay:
- We offer hotels that are suitable for the patient's medical needs with accessible rooms and in proximity to the hospital and airport.
- Our medical team will stay in close communication with you and the hospital staff to monitor the progress and any changes in the current plan of management.
- Be prepared for a change in plans for transportation arrangements if your treatment plan changed.
4. Transport from Hospital to Hotel:
- We will schedule the return transportation to the hotel after the patient is discharged from the hospital.
- We will ensure that the vehicle is equipped for the patient's comfort and medical requirements.
- If necessary, coordinate with the hospital for any medical documentation or prescriptions the patient may need.
5. Transport from Hotel to Airport:
- We will arrange for transportation from the hotel to the airport in advance of the patient's departure.
